Bil i Oslo is Oslo's official application for car-related services. The app allows users to conveniently pay for parking at public parking spaces, pay the studded tire fee, and receive notifications of temporary bans on diesel vehicles.

Parking

• Pay only the parking fee with no additional costs.
• An active parking session can be stopped or extended within the restrictions of the parking zone.
• Charges are based on the duration of the parked time and are deducted upon session expiration or manual termination.
• The app offers features to streamline user experience, such as automatic recommendations for parking zones based on GPS location and a map for orientation and manual zone selection.

Handicapped Parking Space

• The app includes a map of all public HC parking spaces in Oslo.
• By selecting HC parking icons on the map, users can get driving directions.
• Real-time information on available HC parking spaces is provided in the city center.

Studded Tire Fee

• Payment options include daily, monthly, and seasonal studded tire fees.
• The daily fee is valid for 24 hours, the monthly fee for the current month, and the seasonal fee can be canceled with a refund for the remaining period.
• A purchased active studded tire fee for the season can be transferred to another vehicle once.

Other Functionality

• Create a user profile in the app to store payment card details and vehicle registration numbers for easy parking transactions and studded tire fee payments.
• Multiple payment cards and vehicles can be added with easy switching between them.
• Email receipts are available from the transaction history, with an option to receive a monthly summary of receipts by email.
